With the Look Vsion pedals you are on the safe side in the dark season and on night rides. Thanks to the light units integrated into the pedals, you are visible to other road users from a distance of up to one kilometer, day and night. A study has even shown that the motion-based light at heel height improves visibility fivefold compared to a static light on the seat post. Weighing just 20 grams per pedal, the removable units increase the overall weight of the high-end pedals only imperceptibly.
With a weight of only 115 grams per pedal (without light unit) and smooth-running ceramic bearings, the KéO Blade Ceramic Visiob combine lightness with all the top technologies of the French. In the 4th generation, the KéO Blade has become even more comfortable, more aerodynamic and easier to adjust. The proven click mechanism with carbon leaf spring has remained unchanged. This enables a more defined exit from the pedal and a significantly faster release of the foot at the end of the exit compared to conventional clipless pedals. To meet the requirements of all riders, the carbon blades are available with 4 different release strengths from 8 Nm to 20 Nm release strength. The 12 Nm version will suit most riders, while the 16 Nm and 20 Nm versions are suitable for powerful riders and sprinters looking for an extra firm hold on the pedal.
The perfect integration of the carbon leaf spring makes the Blade the most aerodynamic pedal on the market. 2 channels on the sides additionally support the optimum air flow. The double seals and extensive material tests of the axles, which far exceed the applicable standards, guarantee a long service life.
Perfect visibility
The revolutionary lights with a luminosity of up to 60 lumens and a light angle of 180° make you visible earlier, even in bright sunshine. IPX7 waterproofing and four different light modes ensure perfect visibility even in the most adverse weather conditions.
Stop and go system
The light units automatically recognize whether you stop or continue driving. After 30 seconds of motionlessness, they switch to energy-saving standby mode. However, they start up again immediately when you start pedaling again.
Easy handling
The integrated light units offer you a maximum light duration of up to 40 hours. Both units can be recharged quickly using the USB-C charging cable with two connections included in the scope of delivery. If you don't need the units, they can be removed in a single movement.
Easier entry
An optimized weight balance makes the click-in movement 60% easier compared to the previous version. This gives you more confidence to hit the pedal in hectic situations.
More robust and durable
With a new axle design, revised seals and a new, more durable water-repellent bearing grease, the KéO Blade pedals have become significantly more robust. A new, reinforced pedal body design also ensures a 200% increase in robustness and greater resistance in the event of accidental contact with the pedals and in the event of a fall.
Increased comfort
The revised platform with 705 mm² contact surface reduces the risk of pressure peaks on the foot, regardless of the stiffness of the shoes. The support surface, which has now been extended to 3 stainless steel plates, also ensures greater stability and reduces unwanted movements and lateral tilting when pedaling.
Simple blade change
Thanks to the new design, the blade spring can be changed within 30 seconds without special tools to change the release hardness.
Updated aero profile
The new design not only looks fast, it also saves another 2% air resistance compared to the previous design.
