With this shift button upgrade, you can transform your SRAM AXS Controller into a fully-fledged shifting center. The buttons serve as an ergonomic alternative to the shift buttons on the SRAM AXS Controller and add another control button to the shifter. This leads to a noticeable improvement in shifting performance and also eliminates the annoying play of the standard buttons. The basis is a SRAM AXS Wireless Blip, which is programmed in the SRAM AXS app as a switch for changing gears and visually disappears in the three-button formation after the conversion. The next step is to configure the vacated shift button on the SRAM AXS controller to control the Rockshox AXS Reverb seatpost. All three buttons are arranged slightly offset one behind the other. You use the front button to control your adjustable seatpost, while the two buttons behind it act as shift buttons for your SRAM AXS groupset. This clever solution allows you to tidy up your cockpit, control everything important with one hand and also save a lot of weight.

The popular 3D printing process fused deposition modeling is used to manufacture the shift buttons. With an exceptionally high resolution, a 0.4 millimeter nozzle prints the molten thermoplastic filament in extremely thin layers of just 0.08 millimeters onto a platform. The individual strands of plastic harden in the air and bond with the existing layer underneath. This process is repeated until the desired shape of the workpiece is completely printed. The result is so fine that it only becomes apparent at second glance that it is a 3D-printed component.
