LEAP COMPONENTS Mounting Clamp for ROCKSHOX Reverb AXS Controller

Significantly lighter than the standard clamp, the foldable mounting clamp from Leap scores points with its easy handling and exceptional material strength. It is printed with a brand new material that achieves around 70 percent of the strength of aluminum and is only a third as heavy. The clamp has successfully passed a load test with a tensile force of 160 kilogram. The folding mechanism enables quick and easy installation without having to remove the grip or brake levers from the handlebars. Designed for installation on the left side of the handlebars, Leap Components Fordable Shifter Clamp is compatible with RockShox Reverb AXS controllers. Combined with the black titanium mounting bolt, the clamp is also a visual asset to any cockpit.

The popular 3D printing process fused deposition modeling is used to manufacture the clamp. With an exceptionally high resolution, a 0.4 millimeter nozzle prints the molten thermoplastic filament onto a platform in extremely thin layers of just 0.08 millimeters. The individual strands of plastic harden in the air and bond with the existing layer underneath. This process is repeated until the desired shape of the workpiece is completely printed. The result is so finely printed that it is only apparent at second glance that it is a 3D-printed component.
