The name Kool-Stop has always been associated with excellent braking performance and low wear. Thanks to these properties, the pads from Oregon/USA are among the top aftermarket brake pads and can even increase the performance of your brakes.

The Aero Kool pads are made from organic materials and bonded with synthetic resin. To improve braking characteristics and reduce abrasion, the pad contains small amounts of metal particles. Nevertheless, the pads are largely organic, one could also say they are semi-metallic. This mixture results in optimum dry and wet braking values and also keeps wear on the disk to a minimum. An aluminum backing plate, which is fitted with cooling pins, helps to dissipate the brake heat significantly better to the ambient air and prevent the brake caliper and brake discs from overheating. This effectively counteracts fading and the slower temperature rise means that brakes with Aero-Kool pads have a more consistent braking performance.
