The Polish manufacturer Inpeak offers you an inexpensive double-sided power meter with the highest possible measuring accuracy and state-of-the-art features. The power meters are mounted on the right and left crank arms of an original Shimano GRX FC-RX820 crank. The tiny measuring units weigh just 10 grams per unit. Thanks to the permanently installed lithium-polymer batteries, no battery changes are necessary and the batteries can be conveniently charged using the magnetic USB charging plug included in the scope of delivery. Data is transmitted via ANT+ or Bluetooth. In addition to receiving a notification via an ANT+-compatible bike computer when the battery is below 10% of its life span, you can check the exact battery level at any time via the Inpeak smartphone app. In addition, LED lights on the power meters indicate a low charge level and information during the charging process. You can also calibrate and update the Inpeak power meters via the app.
The measuring units are IP67-protected against water ingress, even in extreme weather conditions. In a range from -5°C to +50°C, the automatic temperature compensation ensures precise and accurate values with a maximum measurement deviation of +-2%. In addition to pedaled power, the power meter crank also measures your cadence, pedal smoothness and torque effectiveness. Thanks to the double-sided measurement, the power deviation between your left and right leg is also measured. With the help of acceleration sensors and special algorithms, the power meter can also minimize the effects on the measured values in the event of strong vibrations during off-road use or in poor road conditions.
