The game changer for fast gravel races! With the Caracal Race, the traditional French brand Hutchinson is launching perhaps the fastest gravel tire on the market. The extremely supple Swift-Easy carcass and the fast and grippy Mach Tread 3.0 rubber compound have been adopted from Hutchinson's high-end Blackbird road bike tire. The package is rounded off by a semi-slick tread pattern that ensures minimal rolling resistance on asphalt and fast gravel tracks. The outwardly growing tread blocks provide the necessary cornering grip and make the tire extremely versatile. To ensure the highest possible manufacturing quality, the Caracal Race is produced in France.

SwiftEasy Casing
This groundbreaking casing construction ensures an extremely supple and easy-rolling tire. The construction uses a 2-ply 127 TPI carcass, which does not overlap under the tread. An additional layer from tire bead to tire bead ensures perfect tubeless properties. This means that there are only two plies under the tread as opposed to 3 plies in overlapping constructions, which significantly improves the tire's performance.

Mach Tread 3.0
With the Mach Tread 3.0, Hutchinson sets a new standard for speed and efficiency. Thanks to its outstanding rebound properties, the rubber compound has extremely high flexibility and therefore ensures extremely low rolling resistance and perfect grip. At the same time, the engineers succeeded in making the Mach Tread 3.0 75% more tear-resistant than the previous high-performance rubber compound. This ensures high resistance to cuts, even in demanding terrain.

Racing Lab
Hutchinson Racing Lab tires are developed in close collaboration between engineers, tire designers and world-class athletes at the historic Hutchinson headquarters in Chalette-sur Loing. Thanks to in-house production, prototypes can be produced, tested under the toughest conditions and further developed in the shortest possible time.
