HOPE stem 31.8 mm Direct Mount AM / Freeride 40 mm | purple
The beautifully CNC-machined retrofit stem for Rock Shox Boxxer, Fox 40 (from model year 2009) and Marzocci 888 and 380 (from model year 2013) double bridge forks saves weight and helps to keep your cockpit flat. Another advantage is that this stem cannot twist after a fall. The newly developed oversize handlebar clamp has been optimized so that the lower pair of bolts is only tightened after the upper pair, which distributes loads more evenly. In addition, the handlebar clamp has lost further weight and is now designed as a double clamp.
As is typical for HOPE, the stem is milled from a single piece of 2014-T6 aluminium and anodized for an appealing look. The stainless steel bolts supplied are sturdy and resistant to rust.
The stem is available in typical HOPE anodized colors and can thus be optimally adapted to the Hope brakes or hubs.
