HOPE Stem 31.8 mm Direct Mount AM / Freeride 40 mm

The beautifully CNC-machined retrofit stem for Rock Shox Boxxer, Fox 40 (from model year 2009) and Marzocci 888 and 380 (from model year 2013) double bridge forks saves weight and helps keep your cockpit flat. Another advantage is that this stem can not twist after a fall. The newly developed oversize handlebar clamp has been optimized so that the lower pair of screws are tightened only to the upper, which distributes loads evenly. In addition, the handlebar clamp has lost further weight and is now designed as a double clamp.
As is typical with HOPE, the stem is milled from one piece of 2014-T6 aluminum and anodised for a pleasing appearance. The supplied stainless steel screws are stable and are resistant to rust.
The stem is available in typical HOPE anodized colors and can be optimally adapted to the Hope brakes or hubs.
