HOPE brake rotor V4 Vented Floating Rotor ventilated 220 mm | smoke

The newly designed, internally ventilated V4 floating brake rotor has been specially developed for Hope Tech 4 V4 and Tech 3 V4 brake systems. The brake disc consists of two friction surfaces that are connected by fins and allow air to flow between the friction surfaces. This design enables significantly better cooling. On the test bench, Hope was able to measure that the internally ventilated V4 rotor heats up 15% less than the simple floating rotor. The design also ensures significantly better wet braking performance because the water can be displaced more quickly through the inside of the friction rings.

The two-piece version is available with spiders in all Hope anodized colors to match your bike. The lightweight aluminum spider also increases the rigidity of the rotor and improves heat dissipation. The stainless steel braking surface is riveted to the aluminum spider and allows expansion and contraction without deforming the brake rotor.
