GOODYEAR Tire Peak Tubeless Ready | 700 x 40C | black
With the development of the first bicycle tire in 1898, the GOODYEAR brand entered the stage of tire manufacturers for the first time, laying the foundation for the company's continued success. This long tradition and the associated developments have resulted in extensive know-how. GOODYEAR now makes optimum use of this experience and knowledge in the bicycle industry and presents tires that impress with a consistently well thought-out combination of material, structure and manufacturing process.
The Peak is based on the MTB tire of the same name. Its slightly coarser tread consists of small, widely spaced blocks and therefore grips the ground perfectly, giving you a lot of safety and riding pleasure, especially on loose or wet surfaces. The tread is slightly more closed on the tread surface to also cut a good figure in terms of rolling resistance. In combination with the gravel-compatible Dynamic: A/T rubber compound and the stable 60 tpi carcass, it is hungry for new adventures.
Dynamic: A/T
The Dynamic: A/T compound is the all-terrain compound from GOODYEAR. It offers a wide range of applications and stands above all for good traction and stable braking performance. The all-rounder for ambitious gravel use.
Tubeless Ready (TR)
Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance, and where there is no inner tube, the risk of punctures is also reduced.
