Gelu Carbon Creation was brought to life by Anghel Ivanof in 2013. Anghel has more than 20 years of experience in processing composite materials. It all started in the early 1990s with the manufacture and repair of carbon components for e.g. B. racing boats, canoes and surfboards.
After an excursion into aviation technology, which started in 1999, it was time in 2005 to apply the knowledge gained to the manufacture of high-quality bicycle parts. The first prototype of a carbon saddle saw the light of day in 2006.
Thanks to the close collaboration with an orthopedic surgeon, an engineer and some of the best Portuguese athletes, a product was developed step by step that meets the requirements of the best athletes.
Small, compact and very robust.
The saddles of the E series have a slightly wider nose than usual to ensure maximum comfort even when riding on the saddle tip. The central opening has been specially designed to ensure that no pressure is exerted on the prostate region. These properties make them very versatile saddles.
Each Gelu Carbon saddle is made by hand in Portugal. For maximum comfort and safety, all saddles are checked and certified by an orthopedic surgeon. So you get off your bike with a smile even after the longest tour. A perfect finish also pampers the eye and leaves nothing to be desired in the finished product.
