With the StVZO-approved front light with integrated dashcam, you will experience greater safety in road traffic. Whether you are commuting or training: the dashcam continuously records your journey and delivers razor-sharp recordings in 4K quality. In the event of an accident, it is automatically detected and video clips before, during and after the event are reliably saved without any action on your part. Thanks to the bright front light with side lighting, you can see all hazards on the road even in poor lighting conditions and at the same time help drivers to recognize you earlier. The glare-free light cone minimizes the light intensity upwards so as not to dazzle other road users.
Videos in 4K
The integrated camera records videos in 4K quality at 30 fps to automatically document accidents or record the entire journey for later. The video resolution can also be reduced to 1080p at 30 or 60 fps for longer battery life and less storage space requirements. In addition to videos, the camera can also take photos. These are stored on an optionally available microSD card.
Electronic image stabilization
Smooth and shake-free video recordings when driving on uneven ground - with the help of software-based corrections. The camera captures a slightly larger image than necessary so that the software can compensate for movements or vibrations by stabilizing the image section within the captured frame.
Smart auto brightness
The bright front light offers two continuous light modes - high at 165 lumens and low at 120 lumens. Coupled with a compatible Garmin bike computer, the brightness is automatically adjusted to the light conditions and current speed.
Compatible with Edge bike computer
Pair the Garmin Varia Vue with your Edge bike computer and control the camera and front light directly via your favorite speedometer. This makes it quick and easy to start video recordings manually, take photos or conveniently adjust the light intensity.
Compatible with Varia Radar
A perfect combination. With the optionally available Garmin rear light RCT716 with integrated dashcam, you can expand your video documentation to include the rear perspective. Simultaneous front and rear recording allows you to capture a complete overtaking maneuver. The smart radar also reliably warns you of vehicles approaching from behind.
Garmin Varia app
With the Varia app, you can display the live image from the dashcam on your smartphone, for example to perfectly align the image section. The app also allows you to access, view, manage, download or share saved videos and photos. The resolution and frame rate of the camera and the brightness of the light can also be adjusted.
