Garbaruk is a company from the Ukraine, which has its roots in motorsport. The design and manufacture of tuning parts for engines and chassis was one of Garbaruk's specialties. Today, the cycling enthusiasts, the Garbaruk brothers, incorporate the experience and knowledge they have gained into the production of bicycle parts. All steps from design and production to surface finishing are carried out under one roof. 7075-T6 aluminum from Germany is the raw material from which the Garbaruk chainrings are elaborately CNC-milled. The chainrings have a number of features that set them apart from the competition.

narrow-wide teeth
To keep the chain securely in position even without a chain guide, the teeth have a special profile consisting of alternating narrow and wide teeth. The teeth of the Garbaruk chainrings are approx. 40% longer than standard teeth to ensure that this is the case even under very rough and coarse conditions. Furthermore, the teeth are shaped in such a way that the chainring works very well even in muddy conditions. Dirt and mud are effectively removed when the chain runs over.

VCLT (Variable ChainLine Technology)
Garbaruk works with chainrings with a changing chainline that depends on the number of teeth. Other manufacturers usually use a fixed chainline, but this must be selected so that even larger chainrings do not touch the chainstay. The smaller the Garbaruk chainring, the closer it can be placed to the chainstay. This makes the chainline even more optimal, as the chainring is aligned almost in the middle of the cassette.
