Garbaruk is a company from Ukraine, which has its roots in motorsport. Design and manufacture of tuning parts for engines and chassis were the hobbyhorse of the Garbaruk company. The Garbaruk brothers, who are enthusiastic about cycling, allow the experience and knowledge they have gained to flow into the production of high-end bicycle parts. Since 2019 the company has been located in Krakow, Poland. The same thing remains unchanged: From design and production to surface finishing - all steps take place under one roof.
7075-T6 aluminum from Germany is the raw material for the complex CNC-milled components from Garbaruk. The chainrings have some features that differ from the competition.

VCLT (Variable ChainLine Technology)
Garbaruk works with a changing chain line on all direct mount chainrings. This depends on the number of teeth. The chain line is optimized so that the chainring is aligned almost in the middle of the cassette according to its size. With other manufacturers, a fixed chain line common, which must be chosen so that even larger chainrings do not touch the chain stay.

narrow-wide teeth
In order to keep the chain securely in position even without a chain guide, the teeth have a special profile of narrow and wide teeth alternating. So that this is also given under very rough and rough conditions, the teeth of the Garbaruk chainrings are made approx. 40% longer than normal teeth. Furthermore, the teeth are shaped so that the chainring works very well even in muddy conditions. Dirt and mud are effectively removed when the chain overflows.

Direct mount assembly
The chainring is mounted directly on the crank arm and replaces the possible previous spider. The result is a tidy look that saves weight and at the same time offers excellent rigidity.

Cannondale Ai
These chainrings, specially developed for Cannondale bikes with Ai frame geometry, have an optimized chain line that harmonizes perfectly with the rear end of the bikes. (e.g. Cannondale F-SI, Scalpel SI, Beast of the East, Bad Habit)
