Garbaruk is a company from Ukraine, which has its roots in motorsport.
Design and manufacture of tuning parts for engines and chassis were part of the Garbaruk company. The gained experience and knowledge allow the cycling enthusiasts Garbaruk to flow into the production of bicycle parts today. All steps from design, production to surface finishing are done under one roof.
7075-T6 aluminum from Germany is the raw material from which the chainrings from Garbaruk are elaborately CNC-milled. The chainrings have some features that are different from competitors.
In order to hold the chain securely in place even without a chain guide, the teeth have a special profile made of alternating narrow and wide teeth. To ensure that this is the case even under very rough and rough conditions, the teeth of the Garbaruk chainrings are made approx. 40% longer than normal teeth. Furthermore, the teeth are shaped so that the chainring works very well even in muddy conditions. Dirt and mud are effectively removed when the chain overflows.
We recommend using a rear derailleur with increased cage tension (SRAM Type 2-3, Shimano Shadow +), which holds the chain reliably in place and prevents it from jumping off.
The Boost Standard allows the use of wider tires in appropriately designed frames and forks. The widened hubs also give the wheels higher stiffness values, which is particularly important for 27.5 "and 29 inch wheels. However, due to the increase in width, the chain line moves about 3 mm to the outside. The Garbaruk Boost chainrings do the same in connection with the in-house VCLT Technology optimally.
Direct mount assembly
The chainring is mounted directly on the crank arm and replaces the possible previous spider.
The result is a tidy look that saves weight and at the same time offers excellent rigidity.
VCLT (Variable ChainLine Technology)
Garbaruk works with all Direct Mount chainrings with a changing chain line , which depends on the number of teeth. A fixed chain line common with other manufacturers, but it must be selected so that even larger chainrings do not touch the chain stay.
The smaller the Garbaruk chainring, the closer it can be placed on the chainstay.
The chain line becomes even more optimal because the chainring is aligned almost in the center of the cassette.
Melon - oval shape
Chainring ovalization increases performance by varying the drivetrain and optimizing drag. When you kick your legs, the natural strengths and weaknesses are brought into harmony. In this way, a better use of the stronger muscle groups is achieved and a balance in the way to work (less stroke) is created in the weaker muscles.
