FRAEZEN's claim is the development and production of high-quality and durable parts for your bike. In order to leave nothing to chance, all necessary steps, from the first draft to the finished product, are realized directly on site in Leutkirch/Allgäu.
Both design and production take place in the company's own production facility in the beautiful Allgäu region. The fine bike parts are tested on the local trails of the region and in the international racing events of the Enduro World Series. The great advantage of on-site production and testing is obvious: short distances enable quick changes and improvements during development and result in products of the highest quality in series production.
World's first one-piece rear derailleur cage!
The KAEFIG is the first one-piece rear derailleur cage system designed for use on downhill bikes and is of course designed and produced in Leutkirch/Allgäu.The one-piece design increases the torsional rigidity of the rear derailleur and thus enables more precise shifting. This is particularly noticeable under high loads and in heavy gears. The SRAM version of the KAEFIG has a second hole for the clutch spring. This ensures a higher spring preload, which significantly reduces chain slap. The Enduro Bearings Zero Ceramic bearings in the derailleur pulleys significantly increase the service life. The rear derailleur cage turns a SRAM Transmission rear derailleur into a DH rear derailleur, but is not compatible with normal 10-52 cassettes.
