With the Podium, the Americans from Fox bring an upside-down suspension fork for tough enduro use to the starting line.
The Podium is made to be ridden like a downhill fork. No obstacles. No hesitation. Just full confidence that your front wheel will hold the line - no matter how hard or fast you ride. Thanks to a very low unsprung mass, you have optimum traction in every situation.
The fork's very large upper tubes (47 mm) generate incredible longitudinal stiffness. It is almost on a par with the Fox 40 and allows maximum speed even in the roughest terrain. The extremely large 175 mm spacing of the bushings contributes to the stiffness and smooth response under load.
However, upside-down forks do not have a fork bridge and therefore have a slight disadvantage in terms of torsional stiffness due to their design. This deficit was counteracted with a 20x110 mm steel stub axle, which is clamped to the dropout with two bolts on each side.
The GlideCore Air Spring inside ensures that your suspension fork responds exceptionally smoothly. The dynamic movement within the fork specifically reduces breakaway friction - for a sensitive, low-friction ride feel, even under high loads. This is made possible by large nitrile-butadiene rings that control lateral and axial movements. The result: noticeably better performance and control off-road. The whole thing is controlled by a specially tuned Grip X2 damper. The firm compression stage lets you stand higher in the suspension travel, improving traction and control in every corner.
Oversized uppers. Overbuilt Crown.
The Podium's oversized 47 mm top tubes and massive crown give it incredible longitudinal stiffness. The stiffness of the chassis is comparable to that of a FOX 40 and lets you power through the roughest and steepest trails with absolute confidence, even at the highest speeds like in downhill races.
Specially tuned GRIP X2 damping
The Podium is kept under control by the award-winning GRIP X2 damper, which has been tuned for more compression support to reduce internal suspension friction.
Glidecore Air Spring
GlideCore reduces friction within the air spring by moving with the fork under load and compensating for twisting. Large nitrile butadiene rings control this movement laterally and axially to reduce breakaway friction. The result? Smoother suspension behavior and less fatigue.
Large Diameter Axle
20x100 mm steel thru-axle, which is clamped to the dropout with two bolts on each side.
Kashima Coat
The Genuine Kashima Coat coating for a buttery smooth ride is available exclusively from FOX, the Kashima Coat logo is applied to both stanchions.
