The new FOX FLOAT SL shocks are built for maximum efficiency in the XC sector and offer you an impressive combination of light weight, traction and a fine ride feel. Thanks to completely revised compression and rebound damping, you can enjoy more grip, more control and even more defined feedback from the ground on any terrain.

The FLOAT SL is the lightest XC shock FOX has ever built. It adopts the proven internal technology of its big FLOAT X siblings, but has been consistently slimmed down to excel on World Cup XC courses as well as on long marathon stages. A new main piston, optimized valves and a revised IFP ensure noticeably more performance, better consistency and a finer tuning range.

The lightweight, one-piece EVOL air sleeve further increases the sensitivity and responsiveness of the shock, so that you can ride with confidence even on technically demanding descents. The legendary Kashima coating is of course used in the Factory Series: for maximum durability and low-friction performance.

Using a 3-position lever or a 2-position remote, you can switch between "Open" or "Medium" and "Firm" at lightning speed and thus ensure the most efficient power transmission at all times: whether sprinting, climbing or on rough trails.

To keep your FOX FLOAT SL shock working at top level, FOX recommends regular maintenance intervals.
