It also heralded a new era at Formula: The Cura was the first brake to be operated with mineral oil. After many years, the right mineral oil has finally been found that meets the requirements of Formula. For you, this means less maintenance. Spend your time off-road rather than at the workbench.
Thanks to the flip-flop attachment, the brake can be mounted on the left or right of the handlebar. The forged brake caliper is extremely stable and thus brings more braking power and better dosing. In addition, cleverly placed ventilation openings allow an air-free system. Furthermore, the caliper has the so-called Enhanced Caliper Technology (ECT). In contrast to the previous models, the pads are slightly further apart, which simplifies assembly and prevents the pads from rubbing against the disc.
Thanks to the high-quality workmanship and easy handling, you will crank up many kilometers with the Cura without any problems.
MixMaster (optional)
The MixMaster handlebar clamp is an option to install your Shimano and SRAM shifters directly on the Formula brake, which gives your handlebars a cleaner look.
