The Arione is designed for optimized power transmission with a high degree of freedom of movement for the rider. The flat saddle geometry stabilizes the pelvic position, while the extended saddle nose enables effective power support under high loads - for example in headwinds or on climbs. The lateral areas with WingFlex technology are elastic and adapt to the movement of the thighs, ensuring unrestricted pedaling movement even at high cadences and longer load intervals. Reduced, finely tuned padding enables direct feedback from the bike without significantly impairing long-distance comfort. The hard-wearing Microtex cover is designed to withstand long-term wear and tear in daily use.
The construction is based on a saddle shell made of carbon-reinforced nylon, which combines high structural strength with controlled flexibility, thereby improving vibration damping. The hollow K:ium saddle rails with a 7 mm frame diameter offer a balanced ratio of stiffness, corrosion resistance and low weight. The total weight of the saddle is 228 grams. The Microtex cover has a soft feel combined with high abrasion resistance. In addition, the integrated WingFlex design enables improved hip mobility at high cadence. The saddle is also compatible with the ICS (Integrated Clip System), allowing accessories such as saddlebags or rear lights to be mounted directly.
