ERGON cycling shoe inserts / insoles IP Pro Solestar
The interface between man and machine is crucial to ensure that your power is optimally transferred to the rear wheel. Here Ergon, in conjunction with Solestar, has designed a cycling shoe insole that optimally transfers leg power to the shoe and pedal. The Ergon IP Pro Solestar cycling insoles are based on the patented Solestar stabilization delta and have a 3-layer construction with an EVA foam core. This highly load-resistant yet flexible material was specially developed for use under high pressure loads. The cycling shoe insoles are perforated in the forefoot area to allow sufficient ventilation of the foot. The stabilization delta (patented), which acts like a clamp in the cycling shoe, ensures that the foot is held firmly in place during the entire pedalling cycle. First, the foot is brought into the optimum neutral position for power transmission and then held in this position permanently. This firstly lowers the metatarsophalangeal joint, secondly raises the outer edge of the forefoot and thirdly provides ankle support.
