That's why mountaineers in particular will be enthusiastic about the CyberDisc 327C. With it you will effortlessly climb even the longest climbs. But you will also save energy on flat courses, which is then available to you in the finish sprint.
The carbon rims play a significant role in the high-quality appearance. Not only do they have an elegant look and perfect workmanship, they also shine with their technical features. Toray fibers have the optimal compromise between weight and durability and form the ideal basis for long-lasting components. A special resin increases the stiffness as well as the resistance and selective reinforcements around the nipple holes prevent spoke tearing. On the rim flange, the Italians opted for the variant with a hook. This has the advantage that the tires sit securely in every situation, even when driving with high air pressures. To increase the stability of the entire wheel, the rims also have an asymmetrical cross-section. This equalizes the spoke lengths on both sides and avoids peak loads on one side. To simplify tire mounting, the rim bed has a deep recess, which is particularly advantageous for tubeless tires.
The CyberDisc hubs rotate in the center of the wheelset. Like all Extralite hubs, these are true works of art and show the attention to detail and many years of experience of the Italians. The milled 7075 aluminum hub body is not only beautiful, but defies the scales with its low weight. The torsion-resistant 17 mm axle rotates in high-quality stainless steel bearings from Enduro Bearings, which run very smoothly and are perfectly sealed against external influences. With the Micro-Turner you can use a 21 mm open-end wrench to optimally adjust the bearing play at any time and thus significantly extend the service life.
The HyperLite spokes connect the rims and hubs. They are not only light, they also have very good aerodynamics due to their knife shape. In addition, the high tensile strength allows the construction of very stable wheels. Using straight spokes reduces the risk of punctures caused by broken spokes.
