It has long been known that the Italians around Extralite create small CNC works of art. Their extravagant design stands out from the crowd and is an eye-catcher on any bike.
With the next evolutionary stage of the Cyberhubs, they have once again outdone themselves. The one-piece hub body is CNC-milled from high-strength 7075TX aluminum at great expense. This rotates around a stable 17 mm aluminum axle with double-sealed hybrid ceramic bearings. The axial play can also be finely adjusted in future using the micro-tuner.
The spoke mounts have been changed slightly. These are now closer to the hub body, but still use the straight-pull version to minimize susceptibility to punctures. The holes have been enlarged and rounded to a diameter of 2,8 mm and can accommodate conventional stainless steel spokes as well as carbon or even textile fiber versions. This means you are already equipped for the future. In addition, the coordinated geometry of the hub flange ensures an optimum spoke angle and can also withstand high spoke tensions. This guarantees you a very stiff and durable wheel.
A pawl freewheel provides propulsion. Two pawls engage in a titanium ring with 32 ratchets. This reduces the free travel and at the same time reduces wear. All these features, together with the excellent workmanship, result in a 141 gram lightweight hub that will amaze the technology-loving road cyclist.
HyperCeramic
These Extralite hubs are factory-fitted with double-sealed hybrid ceramic bearings for demanding racing and long-distance use. The combination of ultra-hard ceramic balls and robust stainless steel races gives the advanced precision bearings smooth running, minimal friction and exceptional resistance to corrosion and wear. Thanks to high temperature resistance, the efficient running performance remains constant even under high loads and on long descents. A noticeable advantage for all those who rely on maximum performance and durability.

Notes: Extralite CyberRear freehub mechanisms are only suitable for road and gravel use, not for MTB. The gear ratio must be at least 1.00. Shorter gear ratios can lead to increased torque and damage the freewheel mechanism.
