Do you commute a lot on your bike and want to stow your things safely and practically while still being protected as best as possible?The Commute A.I.R. Pro 18 backpack combines a clever packing volume with integrated airbag technology and back protector, making it the first of its kind.
In the event of a fall, the sensor-controlled airbag of the Minerva Airbag System inflates in less than 0.2 seconds and protects the neck, shoulders, collarbones and chest area. The particularly lightweight, flexible Liteshield Plus back protector (level 2) protects large parts of the spine in the event of a fall. Thanks to these two technologies, up to 80 % of the impact forces can be reduced. A magnetic Fidlock buckle on the chest strap activates the airbag system and has a battery life of 24 hours, after which it can be recharged via the USB-C port. And the best thing about the airbag system - after a fall, the system can be used again with a new inflator.
The backpack also impresses with a good fit and high wearing comfort. Seamless shoulder straps and a height-adjustable Airo-Flex hip belt ensure even weight distribution and a reliable fit. The air circulation ventilation system keeps your back dry even on hot days. The backpack has a large, spacious main compartment that can be opened completely as well as numerous extra compartments for a U-lock, smartphone, water bottle, glasses and more. There is an extra padded compartment on the side for your laptop as well as practical features such as a key clip or multifunctional fastening loops. You can attach your helmet or other bulky items on the outside. Reflective elements and glow-in-the-dark cargo straps increase your visibility in the dark.
Minerva airbag system
The sensor-controlled Minerva airbag system deploys in less than 0.2 seconds in the event of a fall and protects the neck, shoulders, collarbones and chest area. Liteshield Plus back protector
The Liteshield Plus protector reliably protects your spine from injury in the event of a serious fall. It is able to absorb and distribute up to 95% of the impact energy. Nevertheless, at approx. 145g it is very light and comfortable to wear, combining safety with comfort and complying with TÜV and CE standards.
EVOC also offers a free crash replacement. After a serious fall, you send in your protector and receive a new one in exchange after an assessment.
Airo Flex
Airo Flex is an extremely stable fabric that is as permeable to air as it is flexible. It is used in the highest quality hip belts and ensures optimum load transfer to the hips with maximum ventilation - for maximum comfort.
Air Circulation
Thanks to Air Circulation, air can flow freely and your back stays dry even on hot days.
