You want to drive Paris-Roubaix yourself or spend hours on gravel roads - then use this Ergon seat post, your back and buttocks will thank you. The simple, yet ingenious construction noticeably absorbs impacts from the ground and offers you an unexpectedly high level of comfort and long-lasting performance.
The system takes a novel approach using two parallel VCLS leaf springs with a floating clamp head. The functional principle is as simple as it is perfect. The impact direction of the force application and the compression direction are physically on the same path and therefore work together optimally. In addition, the response behavior is very sensitive, so that even small bumps can be swallowed by the 20 mm "spring travel". Nevertheless, there are no compromises on the usual direct racing bike feeling, especially since lateral twisting is excluded.
The saddle is securely held by the "Flip Head" head. Due to the parallel displacement of the two leaf springs, the inclination always remains in the set position despite the flexibility. The rotatable clamping jaws allow a very large adjustment range, so that every driver will find their preferred seating position.
The very high-quality workmanship is typical of Ergon. This guarantees excellent functionality and a long service life. In addition, this system is practically maintenance-free and weighs very little.
