ELITE Avanti exercise bike with Zwift Cog and Click
With the Avanti, Elite is launching a trainer with the latest features and an extremely attractive price alongside its flagship Justo 2. The only drawbacks are the flywheel mass and the associated ride feel as well as the accuracy of the power meter. Equipped with a WiFi sensor, the Avanti can be connected to the home network. It also has accelerated data transmission at 10 Hz. The integrated Flex Feet ensure an extremely natural riding experience. The Avanti can also be used without power and without an app so that you can easily train anywhere. With its robust, compact design and integrated carrying handle, the trainer is also easy to transport.
Accelerated data transmission at 10 Hz
This means that the read rate for power, speed and cadence data from the exercise bike is up to ten times faster than before, ensuring instant synchronization of data with the training software. Faster data transfer means your avatar on Zwift can go into the supertuck position faster, which can give you a decisive advantage in racing.
Flex Feet
With its flex feed, the Avanti provides an extremely natural riding experience and reduces muscular fatigue by reducing static sitting during indoor training. The integrated black Flex Feet allow the trainer to swing sideways by up to 4.5°.
WiFi
With WiFi integration, you can connect your Avanti directly to your network and speed up data transfer with your training software. The WiFi connection supports 2.4 GHz networks and allows the trainer to perform automatic firmware updates. For an even more stable data connection, you can connect the Avanti to your router using the optional gateway dongle with Ethernet cable.
Integrated OTS (Optical Torque Sensor) power meter
The OTS power meter determines your power with an accuracy of +/- 1%. The pedal analysis option (available as an in-app purchase) measures the force during the entire pedal movement and determines the force exerted at 24 points. You can use this data to identify any imbalances and optimize your pedalling.
Simulation of inclines up to 18%
Depending on your body weight, the Avanti can simulate gradients of up to 18%. 920 watts of power can be used at the highest resistance at a speed of 20 km/h and 2100 watts at a speed of 40 km/h. ANT+ FE-C and Bluetooth compatible
Using the Bluetooth and ANT+ FE-C (Fitness Equipment Control) transmission protocol, the Avanti can not only send power, cadence and speed data to end devices, it can also be controlled by smartphones, tablets and compatible bike computers. This means you can adjust the resistance manually at any time, or the resistance is adjusted in real time by the app used according to the altitude profile or your training specifications.
Direct Drive
In contrast to roller trainers with a clamped rear wheel, direct power transmission via the chain ensures perfect power transfer. Especially when changing speed or training with a low cadence, the Avanti can exploit its design advantage by ensuring direct power transmission under all conditions.
Automatic calibration
The Avanti performs periodic auto-calibrations to maintain optimum performance. Time-consuming manual calibrations are a thing of the past.
Can be used anywhere
You can also use the Avanti for training without training apps and even without electricity. Without electricity, you can set the trainer to an incline of up to 18% using the My E-Training app. If you don't have a training app either, you can select the trainer in advance between 16 resistance levels.
Practical and easy to use
With its wide base, the Avanti provides a stable platform even during hard starts. After the training session, it can be quickly folded up and stowed away to save space, while an integrated carrying handle makes it easy to transport.
Road bike and mountain bike compatible
Thanks to the adapters included in the scope of delivery, the Avanti is compatible with road bikes and mountain bikes with 5x130/135 mm quick release and 12x142 mm thru axle. If you frequently switch between different bikes, you can store the adapters in the drawer integrated in the trainer.An adapter for 12x148 mm BOOST thru axles is available as an option.In addition to the standard freehub bodies for Shimano/SRAM 10-/11-/12-speed cassettes, variants for SRAM XDR, Shimano Micro-Spline and Campagnolo cassettes are also available.
ZWIFT Cog & Click V2
The integrated Zwift Cog & Click system replaces the cassette on the Avanti with a single sprocket. With the Zwift Click controllers, you can shift 24 virtual gears on the handlebars. The elimination of mechanical shifting means that the indoor trainer is quieter and drive parts such as the chainring and chain are subject to less wear. Another advantage is the compatibility of the system with several bikes with different drivetrains without having to readjust the derailleurs. You can also use the Zwift Click controllers to scroll through the menus of the popular training platform, use PowerUps, give RideOns and even steer your avatar through the virtual world.
Elite Travelblock
The Elite Travelblock included in the scope of delivery ensures that your bike stands securely and compensates for the height difference for mounting the rear triangle. The Travelblock is suitable for MTB and road bike tires.
