ECLIPSE inner tube 29" Off-Road GT 622x40-65 | 50 mm | black

This Eclipse Off-Road GT inner tube is made of lightweight TPU and is suitable for tire size 622x40/65. The tube is made of high-quality thermoplastic material with a valve length of 50 mm and an aluminium valve stem. The valve has a continuous external thread and is perfectly suited for use with valve extensions, which allows it to be customized to the height of your rim. It's for cyclists who want the best of both worlds - a super lightweight tube that's still tough and durable. The valve is of the Sclaverand (French or Presta) type and has a removable valve core.

ECLIPSE TUBES
The hoses from the Swiss company Eclipse Microsystems were the first TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) hoses on the market in 2009. The material used allowed a much thinner wall thickness than rubber-like butyl, making them extremely light. After the company went quiet in 2017, the Bremen-based company 1two1, owned by long-time Vittoria product manager Stefan Anton, has now taken over the rights to the Eclipse brand and is returning to the market with immediate effect after redeveloping it with new technology. With the new owner, the product range has been revised and adapted to the current specifications of tires and wheels.
