ECLIPSE inner tube 16 "x1⅜ Brompton Performance 349x30-45C | 50 mm | black

This Eclipse Performance inner tube is made of lightweight TPU and is suitable for foldable Brompton bikes with tire size 349x30/45. The tube is made of high-quality thermoplastic material with a valve length of 50 mm and an aluminium valve stem. It weighs just 31 grams. It is therefore perfect for cyclists who want the best of both worlds - a lightweight inner tube that is nevertheless hard-wearing and durable. It also has ultra-low rolling resistance.

ECLIPSE INNER TUBES
In 2009, the inner tubes from Swiss company Eclipse Microsystems were the first on the market made from TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane). The material used allowed for a much thinner wall thickness than rubber-like butyl, making them extremely light. After the company went quiet in 2017, the Bremen-based company 1two1, owned by long-time Vittoria product manager Stefan Anton, has now taken over the rights to the Eclipse brand and is now returning to the market with new technology. With the new owner, the product range has been revised and adapted to the current specifications of tires and wheels.
