DT Swiss rim 29" XM 481
DT Swiss has stood for innovative products of the highest quality for years. Starting out as a manufacturer of high-quality spokes, the company has continuously expanded its product range. Since 2004, the Swiss have also had rims in their range, which they are constantly improving through feedback from cycling professionals and taking into account new developments in materials and manufacturing. Today, DT Swiss rims are among the most driven on the market.
With its robust construction, the XM 481 29" rim is perfect for all-mountain use. It is very light at 520 grams and very wide with an inner width of 30 millimeters in order to offer the optimum support width for the tire only as much material as required at each point on the aluminum rim. It is connected using the SBWT® welding process. The rim is stabilized with a small block during welding and then CNC machined to guarantee a seamless transition. Convinced by the robustness , DT Swiss approves the rim up to a system weight of 120 kilograms. Like all DT Swiss rims in the current range, the XM 481 29" is also ideally suited for tubeless operation. All you need is a suitable tubeless tape, tubeless valves and sealing milk. The rim is delivered with matching PHR washers. The washers are mounted between the nipple and the rim to ensure an optimal fit of the nipple and thus protect the sensitive spoke ends.
INFO: The rim requires the use of the DT Swiss Squorx Pro Head nipples, which are included in the scope of delivery. Black nipples can be ordered separately in the shop.
