The inexpensive X 432 will also find its way into the hearts of bikers. Grown to an inner width of 25 mm, it supports wide tires perfectly even in fast corners, which also provides a lot of safety on XC tracks with built berms and lets you take the speed with you on the track. In addition, the angular profile increases stability without increasing the weight, so that no power is wasted even during fast acceleration and all your energy is used for propulsion.
On the X 432, the ends of the rim are joined together using the sleeve-joint method. A molded part is pressed evenly into the rim profile and the rim is joined together. The holes for the spokes are reinforced with eyelets to prevent them from tearing out. The high-quality workmanship typical of DT Swiss guarantees the rim a long service life. In addition, the shot-peened surface largely prevents stone chips, so that it appears as good as new even after many descents.
Like all DT Swiss rims in the current range, the X 432 is also ideally suited for tubeless operation. All you need is a suitable tubeless tape, tubeless valves and sealant.
