With its sturdy construction, the XM 421 27.5 "rim covers a wide range of use.With 440 grams, it is light enough for cross country use, with an internal width of 25.0 millimeters wide enough for AllMountain and Enduro use FEM analyzes the aluminum rim with just as much material as needed at each point, and it is joined by the SBWT® welding process, which is stabilized with a block during welding and then CNC machined to ensure a seamless transition. Convinced by the robustness, DT Swiss releases the rim up to a system weight of 120 kilograms.Like all DT Swiss rims of the current program, the XM 421 27.5 "is also ideally suited for tubeless operation. All you need is a matching tubeless tape, tubeless valves and sealant. The rim is supplied with matching DT Squorx Pro Head® nipples and PHR washers. The washers are mounted between nipple and rim to ensure an optimal fit of the nipples and thus to protect the delicate spoke ends.
