The EX 471 27.5" is the high-end Enduro rim in the DT Swiss range. Designed for rough terrain, it can withstand even the toughest trails. With an inner width of 25 millimetres, it offers optimum grip for 2.5" wide Enduro tires, and with a weight of 500 grams, it also performs very well on uphills. The rim is joined using the SBWT® welding process. The rim is stabilized with a block during welding and then CNC machined to guarantee a seamless transition. Convinced of its robustness, DT Swiss approves the rim up to a system weight of 110 kilograms. Like all DT Swiss rims in the current range, the EX 471 27.5" is also ideally suited for tubeless operation. All you need is a suitable tubeless tape, tubeless valves and sealant. The rim is supplied with matching DT Squorx Pro Head® nipples and PHR washers. The washers are mounted between the nipple and the rim to ensure an optimal fit of the nipples and thus protect the sensitive spoke ends.
