The rim is joined using the SBWT® welding process. The rim is stabilized during welding by means of a small block and then CNC machined to ensure a seamless transition. Convinced of the robustness, DT Swiss releases the rim up to a system weight of 130 kilograms. Like all DT Swiss rims of the current program, the EX 511 29 "is also suitable for tubeless operation, with only one suitable tubeless belt, tubeless valves and sealing milk The Washer is mounted between the nipple and the rim to ensure an optimal fit of the nipples, thus protecting the sensitive spokes.
