DT Swiss F 572 rim
When developing this rim, particular attention was paid to stability, so the angular profile with the reinforced sidewall can withstand even heavy impacts and easily survive a nasty crash. Nevertheless, the weight is within an acceptable range. In addition, the enormous inner width gives the tire perfect support, which prevents it from kinking in fast bends and ensures greater riding stability. The rim ends are joined together using the sleeve-joint method. In this process, a molded part is pressed evenly into both ends of the rim profile and the rim is joined together. The holes for the spokes have been reinforced with eyelets to prevent them from tearing out. The high-quality workmanship typical of DT Swiss guarantees the rim a long service life. In addition, the shot-peened surface largely prevents stone chips, so that it appears as good as new even after many descents.
DT Swiss 370 hubs
At the center of the wheel is a DT Swiss 370 hub. Thanks to its proven design, it can withstand even the toughest conditions and guarantees precise steering due to its high rigidity. The perfectly sealed bearings and high quality workmanship ensure a long service life.
DT Swiss Competition spokes
The rim and hub are connected with the reliable DT Competition spokes. Their special stiffness is achieved through a special cold forging process. Nevertheless, the tapered center section provides a certain degree of comfort and is therefore better able to withstand heavy impacts.
Pro Lock technology
In the Pro Lock process, a patented two-component adhesive is injected into the nipple thread and enables the construction of extremely durable wheels. As soon as the nipples are screwed in, the adhesive is activated and hardens completely at room temperature after approx. 6 - 7 hours. Repeated re-centering is still possible without any problems, although the adhesive strength decreases slightly each time.
