"A clean chain for everyone" is the motto of the still young company CYCLOWAX. The SRAM chain is pre-waxed and ensures extremely high performance and durability under all conditions with perfectly matched shifting components. Thanks to its unique design, the chain is highly resistant to wear. A nickel coating provides a high level of corrosion protection and reduces chain friction. The wax forms a transparent, smooth coating and keeps the chain clean while increasing the service life of your drivetrain. This not only saves money, but also protects the environment. Unlike conventional chain lubricants, which are often based on fossil oils, waxes are biodegradable and less harmful to the environment. In order to maintain a smooth and silky-smooth running drive, the chain should be re-waxed every 250 km. Re-waxing is also recommended after wet rides.

Note: Check your chain regularly with a chain tester and replace it as soon as the wear limit of 0.5 percent is reached. The Cyclowax-Heater device is required to re-wax the chain.
