Crankbrothers has also incorporated this grandiose development in this pedal, to offer the performance riders a pedal that is extremely durable and at the same time looks really cool. In the LS version, the pedal has a 5 mm longer axle provide more freedom in shoeing BOOST, FATBIKE or PLUS SIZE rear suspension.
The Crankbrothers Mallet E LS has a large pedal body and interchangeable "Traction Pads" and a ribbed body, which significantly improves the connection between the shoe and the pedal. The outer edges are bevelled and minimize the risk of risky contact with stones or injury from falls.
From 2016, the pedals will receive high-quality premium Igus bearings inside and outside bearings made by Enduro Bearing. In addition, the current version is replaced by a revised double-lip seal and an improved outer seal to protect the bearing from the weather and to ensure long-lasting ease of use.
The open construction is not susceptible to dirt and mud. A comfortable entry of both pedal sides is possible.
