CONTINENTAL Tire Top Contact Winter II Premium 28" | VectranBreaker ECO50
Conti has transferred its more than 100 years of experience in dealing with tires and winter weather from car tires to bicycle tires. Tires in this series are designed for temperatures between -25° and +7°. A temperature range where conventional tires have long since lost grip. This is where the Top Contact Winter II Premium tires unfold their full potential. The lamella profile interlocks with snow and cold, wet surfaces and thus provides the necessary grip. They are clearly superior to tires with spikes on snow and packed roads.
Vectran Breaker
A higher puncture resistance and lower weight are the advantages of the Vectran breaker. Vectran is more cut resistant than aramid, 5 times more tensile than steel and lighter than nylon thread without affecting rolling resistance. Thus, it offers the ideal protective layer for the tire.
Vectran was developed for airbag systems in the automotive and aerospace industries.
ECO50
The tires with the ECO50 logo benefit from more than 100 years of experience in the development of moped and motorcycle tires. Optimized and recommended for pedelecs up to 50 km/h, they guarantee low rolling resistance and good puncture protection thanks to their particularly high-quality construction. The durability was specially tested on e-bikes to counteract the premature wear caused by the additional driving force. All models that are equipped with the ECO50 logo have the ECE-R 75 test mark, which allows use on fast pedelecs up to 50 km/h.
