Vectran Breaker
Vectran is a synthetically produced high-tech fiber with a natural model. Like spider silk, Vectran is a liquid crystalline polymer (LCP). Vectran is spun from the molten liquid polymer Vectra and processed into a multi-fiber yarn. Both spider silk and Vectran have enormous tensile strength at very low weight. Higher puncture resistance and lower weight are the advantages of the Vectran breaker. Vectran is more cut-resistant than aramid, 5 times more tensile than steel and lighter than a nylon thread, without affecting rolling resistance. This makes it the ideal protective layer for tires. Vectran was developed for airbag systems in the automotive and aerospace industries.

VITTORIA tube 28" Latex Competition SV
For a long time, latex tubes were limited to tubular tires. Better ride quality and puncture resistance are largely due to the use of latex material. Now you can also benefit from the advantages of latex tubes in your folding tire. Compared to butyl tubes, you gain puncture resistance and lose rolling resistance. This saves you a few watts on the hunt for your next destination.
As latex tubes lose air more quickly due to their thin walls, we recommend checking the air before every ride.
