The founder of Close The Gap is a former elite rider whose specialty was MTB.
After his sporting career, he dedicated himself to safety and mutual respect between cyclists and pedestrians, but also between cyclists themselves. The simplest means of achieving this is a bell. But it has to be so cool that people want it. So he produced the first prototype in 2015. Close The Gap is rightly very proud of the partners it has already secured. Among other things, they are the official supplier of Visma lease a bike. All development and production takes place in the Netherlands. Intensive field tests of new products are the rule, and the short distances mean that the prototype can be bolted to the bike on site and tested extensively.
