The derailleur pulleys from the Danish company CeramicSpeed are the absolute high-end solution for all riders who want to get the most out of themselves and their equipment in a race and for whom every watt saved is more important than anything else. Derailleur pulleys and especially their bearings have to compensate for a great deal of friction. Depending on the gear ratio, they rotate 4 - 5 times faster than the crank and therefore benefit in particular from a low-friction and durable bearing. The CeramicSpeed SpeedBalls are 15% harder than those of the competition and can absorb considerably more force. They also have an incredibly smooth surface, thereby reducing rolling resistance to a minimum. All these improvements have increased the service life by a factor of 6.

Compared to the already high-quality standard bearings from CeramicSpeed, a wafer-thin protective layer is applied to the bearing rings in the "coated" version. This makes the latter even harder, extends their life cycle by a further 60% and reduces rolling resistance even further.

The oil and grease included in the scope of delivery are used for maintenance and have been specially adapted to these bearings. Lubricants from other manufacturers are not recommended.

CeramicSpeed uses only the best materials and the latest technologies in production to ensure the highest possible quality at all times. All products are handmade in Denmark. Manual assembly eliminates manufacturing tolerances and guarantees a perfect fit every time. So that you really only install the best on your bike.
