The Chorus groupset makes a confident appearance and has every reason to do so. Packed with the technologies of the large groupset, it masters the balancing act between racing and endurance touring with ease.
Optimally designed for 12-speed use, the mechanical groupset is equipped with MPS, Ultra Torque and X.P.S.S..
The Chorus benefits immensely from the redesigned brake levers of the Super Recor and Record groupsets. The materials used are not quite as weight-optimized, but are of very high quality. For example, the brake lever is made of aluminum and not carbon.
However, this lever reliably transmits the brake command to the caliper and presses the 22 millimeter diameter pistons reliably against the brake disc. This results in impressive braking power; if your weight is less than 82 kg, a 140 millimeter brake rotor would be sufficient (with a suitable brake caliper). A special metal plate is integrated between the pad and piston to dampen the vibrations that occur during braking. A chamfer on the blocks makes it easier to install and remove the wheels.
Ergopower
Campagnole's flagship, excellent ergonomics, is also applied to the Chorus. This results in comfortable support surfaces, regardless of whether you are riding in a cradle or aero position. As every rider has individual characteristics, it must be possible to adapt the lever to suit them. The hand size is relevant for the brake shifter; both smaller and larger hands will find a great position thanks to the reach adjustment.
New shift cables and a corresponding shift sleeve also ensure a smooth shifting experience.
Ultra-Shift System
The patented system is more than just a support for quick reactions and is considered one of the fastest systems on the market.
Unexpectedly, your opponent opens the sprint to the finish 100 meters earlier than expected, fatigue has caused you to misjudge the climb, in any case you are in the wrong gear. Or turn the tables and surprise your opponents. With precision and lightning speed, you can shift up three gears or down five.
One-lever-one-action
The system prevents operating errors, as each lever only has one function. This prevents accidental shifting while braking or braking while shifting.
