Thanks to their innovative design and an exclusive manufacturing process, the wheels are particularly light, torsionally stiff and fast. The ultra-light construction of the rim is the result of a special lamination process in which the fibers are only joined at a single point, creating a high-strength carbon monolith. The weight of the valve is balanced on the opposite side of the rim, ensuring the wheels are well balanced. Campagnolo is breaking new ground in the design of its aluminum hubs. Inspired by the anatomy of joints, the spoke heads are connected to the hub in a spherical hollow chamber, which allows the spokes to move in a controlled manner under load. This prevents permanent damage and specifically supports the reduction of load peaks in order to optimally transfer power to the road with every pedal stroke. Thanks to different freehub bodies, the wheelset is also compatible with SRAM or Shimano drivetrains.
Each wheel is handcrafted by a Campagnolo specialist in Italy and trimmed to perfection using electronically controlled instruments. This process guarantees maximum performance and reliability.
2-Way-Fit (2WF)
Thanks to the closed 2WF rim profile, Hyperon wheels are suitable for tubeless use without the need for rim tape. However, they can also be ridden conventionally with a tube.
H.U.L.C. Carbon
The Hyperon wheels are made from the special handmade and ultra-light H.U.L.C. carbon fibers. In combination with the C-LUX finish, which does not require painting, and the newly developed hubs, the wheels are over 100 grams lighter than the previous version.
