CAMPAGNOLO Rear Derailleur ROAD 13-speed Super Record 13
Campagnolo introduced the first Super Record groupset in 1973 - a consistent further development of the Record groupset that set new standards in terms of performance, lightweight construction and exclusivity. More than 50 years later, Campagnolo continues this tradition with the Super Record 13 platform and takes it to a new level: as the fastest electronic groupset currently on the market, it not only offers the widest range of gear ratios, but also marks the beginning of a redefinition of the brand identity - developed with the aim of setting a new benchmark in the high-end segment.
A rear derailleur with record performance: Campagnolo sets a new standard for shifting speed with the fundamentally redesigned rear derailleur unit of the Super Record 13. At the heart of this groundbreaking development is an optimized movement path of the chain on the sprockets, which makes every shifting movement as direct, fluid and fast as possible. The result: a complete shifting process through all 13 gears is faster than with all electronic 12-speed groupsets from the competition - despite an additional sprocket. Specifically, the Campagnolo rear derailleur only needs 2.1 seconds to shift up and 1.9 seconds to shift down. Especially in competition, this precision can make the difference between winning and placing. Two specially developed derailleur pulleys, each with 14 teeth and a differentiated profile, minimize the friction of the chain links as they pass through the derailleur cage and reduce the load on the ceramic bearings of the upper pulley. The larger diameter of the lower pulley also guarantees constant chain tension. Despite its unusually aggressive appearance for Campagnolo, the carbon and aluminum rear derailleur blends in surprisingly harmoniously with the otherwise majestically elegant design language of the entire group. Compared to the Super Record Wireless, the right-hand protrusion of the rear derailleur has been reduced by 25 %, which significantly improves aerodynamics and integration on the frame. A removable battery unit supplies the completely wireless system with energy for up to 750 kilometers. If the power does run out unintentionally on the road, the rear derailleur can be moved manually to a desired position to continue the ride comfortably to the destination. The battery is charged either directly on the bike or on the go at any charging station using a USB cable with a magnetically attached charging connection. The charging status can be checked at any time using the mode button on the rear derailleur or via the MyCampy App 3.0. The rear derailleur is compatible with all cassette and chainring options of the groupset. With seven chainring combinations and four cassette variants, the Super Record 13 currently offers the most versatile and complete range of gear ratios on the market, allowing you to tailor the setup to your riding style, terrain and personal performance requirements.
Like all components of the electronic groupset, the rear derailleurs are manufactured entirely in Italy - an expression of the highest precision, perfect craftsmanship and uncompromising reliability.
