BERK COMPOSITES Saddle Ploh 3K Carbon
Berk Composites is a young company from Slovenia, which is dedicated to individual carbon production with heart, soul and a lot of brainpower. With the Ploh, they are launching a modern road bike saddle with a short saddle length and short saddle nose. The saddle begins to widen relatively far forward (V-shape design) and offers riders with a wider pelvis good support. The top of the saddle slopes very little (flat-flat design) and distributes the seat pressure evenly between the buttocks and pubic bone, which significantly increases comfort on long rides. In addition, the cut-out in the middle of the saddle reduces pressure on the perineal area. At the same time, the top flexes noticeably to generate additional comfort. The extremely low weight of just 75 grams is achieved by manufacturing the saddle from highly durable carbon and aramid fibres. Thanks to its short shape, the Ploh is also ideally suited for use on gravel bikes and MTBs.
