Lactate (lactic acid) is a metabolic end product that is produced during the anaerobic combustion of glucose in muscle cells. With a minimal sample quantity, the Lactate Pro 2 provides quick and reliable results on your blood lactate concentration and stores up to 330 measured values. Practical feature: up to three user profiles can be created so that the device can easily be used by several athletes. The data can be easily transferred to a computer via the USB interface so that progress can be precisely analyzed and documented.
The Lactate Pro 2 is technically impressive across the board: the measurement is carried out using modern enzyme electrode technology with whole blood, which is fed into the device using the test strip available in our store. The measuring range extends from 0.5 to 25.0 mmol/L (equivalent to 5 to 225 mg/dL). The result is available after just 15 seconds. Only a minimum blood volume of 0.3 µL is required for a precise analysis. The blood sample is taken from the earlobe or fingertip. Automatic calibration and a long-life CR2032 battery, which can be replaced without tools, make the device particularly low-maintenance and convenient to use.
