AMP brake pads Podium organic for Shimano 4-piston Saint | XT | XTR | SLX | deore
The Podium series features an 8-layer Win Shield™ polymer ceramic coating (on a steel backing plate) that prevents brake heat from being conducted into the caliper.
This allows for a 5 to 10 percent heat reduction in the caliper. The main goal is to bring the well-known AMP performance to everyone in terms of price and compatibility.
Organic toppings
Compared to metallic mixtures, the pad mixture has a shorter braking time, tends to be less noisy and reduces brake disc wear. However, the maximum heat absorption is lower than with metallic pads.
