SRAM XX1 group ushered in a new era in the mountain range. A front chainwheel and a wide stepped pinion block behind cers now many bikes of cross counrty to Allmountain. Absolute Black has developed a combination of single chainring and Spider, which can be mounted on each SRAM GXP crank the groups XX1, X0, X9 or X7. The Combi is bolted directly to the crank arm. This saves weight, is very stiff and ensures a clean as individual appearance. A 7075 Txxx aluminum alloy ensures a low wear. The chainrings have special teeth that prevent the chain may come off. The principle follows that of SRAM XX1 chainrings. In conjunction with an SRAM or Shimano Shadow Type2 + derailleur, which have greatly increased bias of the cage, the chain is reliably held in place without chain guide.
