The new SRAM Force chain has been redesigned from the ground up. The unique flat-top shape of the plates allows the chain to be made narrower and lighter. The resulting greater distance between the outer plates and the pinions ensures that the chain runs more smoothly and gear changes are even more precise. As a positive side effect, the service life of the chain also increases. This is also ensured by a chrome coating on the inside of the tabs and the rollers.
