ZIPP time trial handlebar | Triathlon handlebar Vuka Aero 31.8 mm
The Vuka Aero time trial handlebar sets standards not only with its aerodynamic shape. Its adjustability and broad compatibility with most time trial and triathlon bikes also make it unique. The Vuka Aero can be combined with any classic stem with a 31.8 millimeter clamp diameter. The SRAM AXS Blip Box can be stowed behind a fairing in front of the stem. This not only ensures a tidy cockpit, the fairing also significantly improves the aerodynamics of the cockpit. The brake lines are of course routed through the handlebars and can either be routed through openings on the handlebars to the frame or be routed fully integrated through the stem from an opening on the stem clamp. When pedaling in the brake handle position, the high rigidity of the full carbon handlebars helps you put the power on the pedal. At high speed, the elongated wing profile cuts through the air with minimal resistance.
So that you can find your optimal sitting position in the aero attachment, the arm pads can be moved forwards/backwards and inwards/outwards over a wide range. The angle of attack of the aerobar can also be adjusted from 0 to 10 degrees and the arm pads can also be tilted from 0 to 15 degrees. The height of the arm pads can be adjusted in 5 millimeter increments from 60 millimeters to 115 millimeters using the included risers and screws. With an additional riser kit, the arm pads can be adjusted to a maximum height of 150 millimeters.
NOTE: If the riser height under the arm pads exceeds 50 millimeters, an optionally available bridge must be installed.
