Zipp's goal in developing the SL Sprint was nothing less than building the carbon stem with the best performance on the market. Zipp definitely succeeded in one point. In stiffness-to-weight ratio, no other stem approaches the SL Sprint. This was achieved through the use of Srams Exogram technology, which is also used in the manufacture of Sram Red cranks .
The Sl Sprint was specially designed to meet the needs of the top road professionals and their feedback flowed into the development. Just like a street professional, it is not just about bringing a low weight on the scales, but above all about maximum performance. Or in other words, what good is an extremely lightweight stem, if he gets twisted while pulling the handlebar in the final sprint and the driver does not get his power on the road? As the name implies, the SL Sprint has the handlebars firmly under control even in the toughest sprint.
To achieve an aerodynamic shape, the stem comes with its own Aheadkappe, which is perfectly integrated into the stem. With its glossy UD carbon top layer makes the Sl Sprint look good visually. On the sides and on the aluminum stem cap it is decorated with white Zipp logos. Torx T25 screws are used for best possible handling and durability. The stem is available in lengths of 90 to 140 millimeters.
